This lip gloss detects if your drink is spiked

These days it's really not safe for girls to go and have a perfect night out, because you keep worrying about your drink being spiked. However, a lip gloss with a drink spike detector is expected to be available soon in Australia. It has a pink taper which is dipped into a drink to test for date rape drugs GHB and ketamine. If the strip turns blue, you know that the drink has been tampered with.

The product, an invention of British cosmetics company 2LoveMyLips, has been a hit in Britain since its launch last month. It seems that the product will be made available in vending machines in pubs and clubs which is a very smart idea. So, if you are suspicious about your drink, all you need is this lip gloss to help you out. I'd certainly feel safer.
